The Causeway Coast Ford Fair returned to the grounds of the Dunluce Centre in Portrush, with this year marking the 40th year of the Ford Fiesta and the 12th year of the show itself.  The show also supports both the British Heart Foundation and Cancer Research UK charities.

This year was easily the largest Causeway Coast Ford Fair ever held with over 400 cars on show.  And it wasn’t simply the number of blue oval (and pony cars) on show that impressed, but the standard across all the models and stands was also very high.  There is no doubt there are a large number of Ford fanatics hiding these great examples all across Northern Ireland.

The day was also blessed with clear skies and 25 degrees which guaranteed massive crowds at the popular holiday destination.  This really is a family friendly event as well, bringing a large bouncy castle along with food and all important ice cream vans on site.

I love the RS cars old and new, but it was great to see the ever growing contingent of Mustangs on display, as Ford start to sell the right hand drive cars locally.  A superb £1000 was raised on the day for Cancer Research UK.
