With sunny skies overhead, the Corolla persued among others, a cosworth-arched corsa towards Tandragee, and ultimatley to my first IASCA sound off.

After having a good hoke around the Audio Advice shop, and pumping some extreme bass through their sub stand, I headed out into the midst of the beautifully crafted installs. Blue alcantara trimmed installs seemed to be the order of the day – with astounding attention to detail. Fusion aliens were also out in force, protecting their green neon-illuminated systems.

It was a good day out to see what really went on – we the SPL meter being attached at the passenger seat for volume readings, and the RTA (real time analyser) which shows the frequency response of the system being tested. A day of learning for us sound off virgins!
