I went 25 in my Scirocco but probably could have gone 30-40mm to be honest. A set of 19" wheels will fill the arch gap a bit more though eventually.

Went 40mm in my S4, looked great but it scuffed the odd time so @Carson went 30mm on his and looks good!

As @Boydie said, I had the benefit of seeing his S4 on the 40mm and while it did sit really well I simply didn't want any rubbing / scuffing daily so I went for 30mm. With the 19s I think it sits well and I have no issues at all.

30mm for our roads, they arent exactly like a monster truck to start with.

After having the car nearly a year now I thought I would spend some money on it and make it even nicer even though I think the mk7 golf are near perfect when they leave the factory.

Bought some eibach pro kit lowering springs as well as ordered 15mm spacers and longer wheel bolts of Chris from CM wheels.

Even though its only lowering springs and spacers.. i think it transforms the car :grinning:

I had a front splitter on the car but i must have caught it on something and it ended up cracking so it lying in a dump some where now.. still in two minds to stick another back on as there isnt much clearance under the front bumper already never mind adding a splitter.

Yeah I can't think of anything for it to be honest as they are a perfect factory car - maybe a 2/3 digit reg, plenty for sale on here at the minute!

Lovely motor mate. So fresh looking in white.

I don't think it's missing anything with no splitter, and if it's gonna get destroyed again I'd likely not add it

I agree mate.. checked today again to see what clearance there is .. and if a splitter went on.. its just gonna be back to the good old days of crawling over speed bumps lol
