Thanks Lee, on the scoob I did have some mechanical issues at the start of ownership…however I didn’t really enjoy driving it. Didn’t like how far up you sat, interior felt like it was from the early 90’s and quality overall was quite poor. I didn’t like how it drove when you were just tootling about town, when giving it some it was great but just not for me. Again I’m comparing it to an evo of the same age. Miles better in every way imo. That's a lovely car and unlike some manufacturers these days, theres no doubt that it's the racey version. Beefed up.
I'd be interested to hear why the Subaru was a terrible car for you, did it give bother or did you just never gel with it?
haha thanks we were out on the hunt for a new sofa… what a hateful process very loud for a stock car I must say, thankfully only get the pops & bangs when in sport mode because I couldn’t deal with that all the time lolSpotted you yesterday on Boucher - was a few cars behind you. Awesome road presence and the pops and bangs got my 4 year olds attention when we were walking over to Costa
Thanks Tufty, tbh I was the same… never really gave them a second thought. Read a few reviews on them, then when this one popped up at a Renault dealership over here I went to take a look. Fell in love with the look of it and drives like a dreamI am not a huge fan of Reno but these do change my thought process you could not of got a nicer colour it pops so much in sunlight.
Parked in st Anne’s last night so OH didn’t have far to walk in heels, was in van and had to get her to get before I parked as spaces are tight definitely wouldn’t park anything nice in itThe car park is such a rip and there are only a small handful of spaces that I would actually be happy to park in
I far prefer Anne Sq - less that 10 min walk to Vic Sq which is a fraction of the price - just go to the upper decks which are usually empty
Headed into Belfast yesterday for some Christmas shopping & the annual market trip. Decided to park in Victoria square underground. £20 for the pleasure you best believe I’m going to take a photo to make it worth the while

Don’t think it was me!Is it yours I've seen going through Comber a few times lately?
Don’t think it was me!
I'm not usually a fan of orange - but that colour is fantastic!!Finally got round to washing this thing! I didn’t take any before photos but it was absolutely bogging. After spending 20 mins de-frosting the hose I got stuck in.
I was thinking of getting my steering wheel re-trimmed in full alcantara however I know the trophy R model comes with this, a quick call to Renault parts dept and they could get me a new one for not much more than the price of a re-trim! should be arriving in the next few weeks.
And with the sun going down I had to take a few pics!

Looks fantastic. Off I go to YouTube to see how they sound
They sound great standard, I have a centre res delete and pops, bangs and burbles like mad when in race mode. In comfort mode is very civilised too. If your down at the cars & coffee on the 31st you’re more than welcome to a few revs
Thanks! Love the FK8 type R too. But maybe as a weekend car is it’s not the most subtle on the road. (Me saying that owning a bright orange car I know ) but it doesn’t have huge wings and splitters everywhereUnreal Sam! Always a fan of these and the civic type R. orange really pops.
Thanks yea I’m always about lisburn with work and eating big Mac’s at sprucefield. This just looks amazing…seen it quite a few times now round Lisburn. The colour and stance is perfect
