Clio 172/182 would be your best bet at £2000, VTS at £1000.

already suggested a 172/182 to him, says hes no interest in a clio.
he'd happily take a good vts at a grand just cant see any for sale at all.

You'll be hard pushed for a good one, i've spent over two and a half grand on it plus the rebuild.
