Amp Problems

Right a problem I have with my amp is a strange 1.

When the amp is switched on and connected the sub bounces erratically.
IE in and out quickly then really slowly. not in time with the music.

The wiring is fine because i tried a fusion amp with my sub and wiring and its working fine.

Any suggestions as to what wld be wrong.

I think my amp is on its way out of the world.

The Amp in question is an old Jet Sound something or other.

If it is a JetSound then this is a blessing in diguise.
You life will improve no end when you replace it - good things will start to happen.

it was actually a class wee amp. only paid a £10 for it. 2x150 watts i think. blew away a few mates installs.

my install was the alinoe type E 12" with the jet sound amp
panasonic 6x9s
6.5" alinpe type R comps in pods

sound off included the following

ice van mutant amp with sony xplode pentagon 12" and 6x9s in a mdf build.

A saxo build with a pioneer tsw305c 12" and a jbl amp with jbl comps

and another which i cant remember.

Almost 100% sure it used to be nova bibby's at one stage

try another sub one of your mates ones if it dose the same wit it the amp is gone and will need a new one
