AX100 Burnt Charging Coil

Hey folks,

My dad's wee Suzuki AX100 has burnt out the charging/lighting coil in the stator. Having Zero joy finding a replacement. Does anyone local rewind them, or is it something we could take a go at ourselves (correct length/resistance wire)?
