change car radio (polo mk4)

need help getting the standard radio out of a polo mk4
just cant figure out how to do it

any help plz!

has the head unit got 2 holes on either side of it ?

no
its pretty much flush with it


the way it is there is a wee cuddy hole space under it, was thinkin maybe it came out 1st r sumthing

it will have 2 small slots.

the release keys go in there and it falls out


unless its a sony? youll need to find the small Slot, sometimes there 2 and then you put the key in and pull it out

what radio are you putitng it in? is it new or in the box? it might have keys with it, you can make them work if you know how to

im sticking in a pioneer 3500
which i had in the fez

do you have the long thin keys for it?, if so you can make VW ones which will still remove you pioneer.

ya i have the standard pioneer keys

i went out and looked at the radio there and i can c any holes at the side
there is a hole on each side bout a 1/2 inch in at the buttom

i thought the 5 was from 2002 and mine is 2001

maybe it is the 5
