one of the biggest nites in the stock car calendar in northern ireland!!

f2 irish open @ nutts corner raceway on wed 16th june @ 7.45pm

challenge trophy @ ballymena showgrounds on fri 18th june @ 7.45pm

there are visitin drivers from england and scotland aswell as our local f2 drivers.

should b 1st class racing both nites!!

by the sounds of things 12 english drivers r booked in 2 race and no number on scottish drivers yet along with about 15 of the local drivers!! it will b good!!

SEcondly, I've been given it from a fairly reliable source to expect the follwoing.
167 Bill Batten, 210 Chris Lindsay, 152 Mick Sworder, 782 Stuart Rolph, 732 Daz Kitson, 128 Brian Stephen, 265 Barry Stephen, 315 Fisher??, 721 Graham Kelly, 339 Stuart Kelly, 653 Steven Kelly, 114 Gavin Miller.
Thats not Gospel, but may represent a good indication for starters.

At nutts Corner they were announcing to expect up to 16 visiting drivers for the big metings
These will include
152 Mick Sworder - on form, hard hitter
167 Bill Batten - Never to be ruled out, goes well in NI
315 Justin Fisher - Westcountry driver also on form
114 Gavin Miller - Returning from a ban
210 Chris Lindsay - should go well over here
653 Stephen Kelly - having a good season, made red roof for the first time, but now back to blue.
Other seasoned regulars who may make the trip include, 339 Stuart Kelly, 721 Graham Kelly, 128 Brian Stephen, 265 Barry Stephen, and whop knows, with Gordon Moodie banned World Champion Barry Goldin see his opportunity to chase the national points championship again, and come looking for the points.
Regardless of who else comes, Sworder and Batten have a hard fought rivalry and are sure to provide fireworks
