Renewal quote in the post today from AXA.
2021 Defender D240 HSE
Wife’s policy, 39, 10+NCB, clean licence

£730 last year
£1211 this year
Granted it’s AXA with extras - protected NCB, drive other cars, keys/glass cover, legal expenses etc. But not “Open Driving”.

Knocking the extras off brings it to £900ish but I’ve read about land rovers in GB being a nightmare to insure. I take it this is the same in NI and we may just have to pay it?

Same position..

£700 odd last year for our defender, renewal is just over £1k, also AXA.

I've Admiral quoting £820 and hoping to get a little better with a multi product discount.
