M3/Performance Car's Insurance??

Was pricing insurance on a 96 M3 - Est Value 6k

I am 26, married, homeowner with 6 Years No Claims Bonus. When you put wife on insurance it generally brings price significantly down too..

The quotes I have got are completely mad.....

Hughes and company £6000
Axa - No Quote
Quinn Insurance - No quote
McWhirters - £5000
Crumlin Insurance Partnership - £2000
Abbey Insurance - £1800
Elephant - £2000

Surely with my details it has to be cheaper than this somewhere to get insurance on an M3

??????????????? Any suggestion????????????

tried AA online there

if i Buy a 95 model (instead of a 96) AA are £1090 (their online wont let you select a 96 model non evolution type coupe)
