In regards to the RS6 i didnt really look into them that much to be fair. I know Disc/Pads can be sore on the pocket and they also give the same problems with the suspension as the RS4 the DRC can be costly to replace but i would advise to replace the DRC with the Bilstein Coilovers. As already mentioned the Gearbox rebuild can cost upward of 3k.

The only common faults you here of when it comes to the RS4 is the suspension,oil pipes and they tend to coke up tho if kept on top of you will be grand.

This morning I bit the bullet and bought some 19inch speedline`s so they will be shipped over from engine in the next few days then sent away for be repainted and dish`s polished. I have also been looking at these as well this morning but i cant get the missus on board with them as there 2k.

The Speedlines are much, much nicer.

I've never understood the fascination with those ones personally.

Agreed, I thought I was a E92 M3 man through and through but one of these is tempting!!

They're a bit more sensible and grown up than the E92 M3, and look great in standard form, M3 needs wheels, lowering, carbon etc and I just think I'm too old and boring for that! Lol

If only my s4 had flared arches I would be 100 times happier with it.problem with the b8 rs4 is that it's £20k more expensive than my s4. would love a 07 rs4 but feel it's to old for a daily now.a mint one for the weekend blast would be perfect.future classic right there you have.looks great in silver also.

@Tufty my wee lad spent an hour yesterday on forza3 making your car up ,experimenting with different gold wheels and although only a game it gave plenty of ideas lol.

I know what you mean about having an B7 as a daily but there a car that`s aged well and still hold a good road presence. I did look into the new model myself but there way out of my price range.

I decided not to go for the LM R Rep`s as I just went on ahead and bought some 19 inch speedlines they should land this week and the car should be ready to collect next Tuesday

I'm clearly in the wrong job the way some of you guys buy cars and modify them
