Got these pics of another forum.. Very scarey crash from the Monte Carlo this year. The 2 people in the car are thankfully alive!!

how the hell would ya walk away (survive) a wreck like that?

i bet they needed a change of y-fronts when the got out :confounded:

Just goes to show the strength of the rollcage - done exactly what it was meant and kept the cockpit area intact!

Wouldn't fancy testing ours tho! :confounded:

yup the bits that were supposed to crumple to absorb impact look like they did their job and the cage kept the cockpit sound.

I know all about the strength of a rollcage from my hillclimbing exploits. Even though I hit a tree head on, I believe the cage helped strengthen the cockpit area, especially around the footwell where the front subframe tried to come through. Safety always comes first in motorsport
