Aye, 1st corner 1st lap was legendary for wipeouts. Shame that it won't be there this year.

No matter how lifeless F1 has got in recent years, Spa is a classic circuit, esp in the wet - I'm gonna miss it:worried:

You can already see what's happening in WRC - will be between Gronholm and Loeb on big points then a huge gap then several drivers all within a point or two of each other.

F1 might be interesing this year due to the new V8 engines and aero to go with them. Could be exciting!

Or you really liven it up by placing bets on how many needless pile-ups that maniacal liability Sato will cause, now that someone has been stupid enough to give him another drive!

I find the strategy in F1 the only thing worth watching it for.

Big BTCC fan myself, going to two races this year. (Mondello and Knockhill)

We were looking into going to a BTCC round this year and it's between those two - have you been before and if so, which do you think is better in terms of viewing, facilities etc?

SPA is only off the calendar this year to give proper chance for deveopment for the '07 campaign. There have been a lot of problems with funding the race etc as well, but it's assured that it'll return.

More worrying is the impending loss of monza due noise emmision legislation.

GP isquaring up to be a cracking season, pre season testing is looking extrememly colse, with the honda, williams, ferrari, renault all seeming VERY fast. The mclaren seems very fast, but a fragile engine (again) seems to have been the achillies heel at the moment.

new qualifying system should be interesting.....
