Tyre and Rim width

does anyone know if a rim which is 10 or 10.5" wide with 265mm tyres will fit onto the new shape A3 without having to roll arches ?


trying desperately hard to find a decent set of alloys and to make the car a bit different from the norm and I've found a particular set (prob not to most taste's)

just need to know if they will fit without any work or very very little to the car

plus there are FK coilovers going in as well.

10.5's will not fit an a3, and 265's wont either, go on the audi forum and ask them all these questions, they would know for sure

10.5" wide??? bet that would be a geg turning a corner on a wet/greasy road

have a look on www.cleaned.be for some ideas. you will need the arches rolled and maybe pulled out around 15-25mm which is a lot.

check the pic to see what can be done

Jeez - the rears on my soop are only 10" wide, with 265 hoops.
