Not really a problem as it always goes but just seems a bit on and off.

Basically wait until the light goes off and hit her and she will take a bit of time to kick, other times hit it and it goes first click.

I'm thinking heater plugs may need changed but not really too sure, any ideas?

Cheers!

Is there a puff of smoke from it when it starts and what colour is it? Sounds like heater plugs. Give it 2 heats before you start it to see if that helps. It's also getting colder in the mornings now too.

Will check tomorrow RCT thou I've noticed she is starting to fire out a bit of the ole black now when i'm tramping along, kinda wants me to go full spec with sunstrip, lowered and 17"s for the value, which brings me nicely onto another point. Speedbumps in this place are a nightmare and designed for 4x4's to get over, but in the morning (only) when I go over one I will get a funny squeeking noise from the front passenger side - is it a bushing or something? As i say only when cold in the morning, never to be heard at any other time.

I drive a 406 1.9TD, do a a lot miles around the city and yeah the speed bumps are fierce - sqeaking could be a front drop link??? - though it's usually a more pronounced knocking sound - not hard to check and only about £20 from Euro.

As for cold starting - mines the same - I attribute it to the weather and as already said - let her heat up twice.

Just outta interest - hows your fuel consumption?

Done the twice warming up thing today RCT and it went first click on the second turn so gonna at getting the heater plugs replaced as suspected.

gervy - I think the suspension thing is actually the shock absorber for some reason. Regarding MPG, my rough estminates are at 45 MPG but that is still an ongoing calculation lol
