Sunday 20th March served as the opening round to the 2016 Drag Race Ireland season. Practically every marque was represented, from the thundering Ford Granada of Stevie Ross, the usual herd of Hondas, an army of aircooleds and even a wide arched Cinquecento. A few practice runs in the bag and the times started to tumble as drivers blew out the winter cobwebs. It was a painful start for some as a few fell by the wayside early.
