Well folks, some of you may know what these are about and some may not, basically in the grp B rallying days they built complete animals but to rally them, 200 road cars had to be built, this is one of the origional 200 and one of very few left in the world, owned by Ken Colbert at the time of images, who was a rally driver and prep man most of his days and built a batch of RWD 205’s from scratch and also looked after Nissan 240RS’ in their day, he is a genious and to say he is fussy about his work would be an understatement. This car was fully restored and built into what can only be described as a show car standard, it’s now owned by Rally School Ireland from what i know so thought i’d share what has to be one of the iconic cars of it’s day.

The cars were a 3litre V6 DOHC, mid engined, 4×4, 410bhp @ 9000rpm, 270lb ft @ 6500rpm, then grpB was banned soon after the metro was released and brought an end to an era, but the legend lives on.
