As this event is a time trial it is run in a similar way to the hill climbs and the likes with 1 practice run and 3 timed runs along the stage which is strange looking as there is no co-drivers allowed. From the start a few sweeping bends led the drivers into a jump which was spectacular from a few escorts and the evo’s along with a 106 that got it all wrong nose diving and rolling but thankfully the driver got out ok. With some serious cars out including Barret in the G4 setting fastest time on the first timed run it looked to be a tough days rallying and by heck they were all trying. The sun was out all day and a good crowd watching the action top 10 –

– Johnny McKenna – Evo – 3.40.29
– Seamus Donnelly – Evo – 3.40.90
– Seamus O’Connell – Mk2 – 3.48.18
– Eddie Quinn – Evo – 3.48.54
– Paul Barrett – G3 – 3.48.82
– Marty McCormick – Mk2 – 3.51.05
– Errol Clarke – Evo – 3.51.17
