Club GTi is another name for the VW club and what a track day they can organise and todays is the biggest in the calender as it’s the charity day with Denis Biggerstaff in his amazing metro 6r4 taking passengers out for runs via a raffle and Ronni Brown in his Ferrari 360 Modena doing runs for £10 a go with all funds going to charity at the end of the day.  The weather held out all day thankfully and with such a variety of cars from astras to kit cars to carltons to golfs to a rather quick sunny of RMS_CLK that ran out of brakes.

The day was very well organised and with folk travelling from all over the country and up from south of the border it was made worth while when the 1/4 mile sprint was held at the lunch hour in which the boys came out to play for the craic and again a great turnout with all money on the day raised going to CLIC Sargent childrens cancer charity. At the end of the 1/4 mile i think it was hillbilly in his pulsar gti-r that won it overall with scoobyrb555 off the site not far behind along with amos both in evo’s.

After lunch the money raised was counted while everyone enjoyed more track time and a grand total including a bucket run from Toome to Comber plus the track day was £5460 or there abouts so very well done to all involved on a great day, very well organised and also well done to those who donated kindly to a worthy cause.
