This was the final round of the Great Britain chapionship and at the last minute was changed to run along side TRAX. Saturday saw a very monsoon track for qualifying of which the top 16 got though to compete on the Sundays main event. This ran without fault and on the day a very well deserved win went to Bon Bon in his Skyline, with Phil Morrison’s 200sx coming home in 2nd and a rather releaved Bret Castle brought his newly built 200sx home in the final podium spot.

On the overall championship the win went to Phil Morrison pipping Corks Damien Mulvey who finished 2nd and taking 3rd is Belfasts very own Mark Luney who was more than happy with that after a troublesome season. Adding to these 3 men is Tim Marshall and Bret Castle who along with Phil, Damien and Mark have won the trip of a liefetime which is to compete in the D1GP World Finals at Irwindale, CA in December so i’d wish the lads all the best and it’d be nice to see some world silverware coming back into the UK for Christmas.
