Freezing cold kirkistown as per usual but this the 1st round of the PaceNotes NI Championship fairly heated the air up with some good stage times and some poor ones from those who you would have thought putting in good times, I didn’t stay too long but was good and close all day and a great come back from Lynch to win and also a brilliant Drive from Curran in his DMG hired WRC impreza (Shaw’s 04 championship car). McNeill Motorsport had a new car in the camp too with Shaw buying Boland’s vo8 WRC for this season so good luck to him and what a stunning car it is. Here’s the top 10 at the end of the day –

Kevin Lynch/Francis Regan (Subaru Impreza WRC) 32:51.3
Cahal Arthurs/Martin Brady (Hyundai Accent WRC) 32:53.4
Mike Curran/Fabian McShane (Subaru Impreza WRC) 33:02.4
Glenn Allen/Damien Connolly (Toyota Corolla WRC) 33:13.9
Kevin Barrett/Barry Goodman (Subaru Impreza WRC) 33:22.7
Sean Devine/Peter Ward (Subaru Impreza WRC) 33:29.8
Martin Doherty/Eugene O’Donnell (Subaru Impreza 555) 33:33.2
Martin Elliott/Brian Crawford (Mitsubishi Lancer Evo) Gp N 33:43.6
Kieran Shaw/Crawford Henderson (Mitsubishi Lancer WRC) 33:44.3
Craig Bennett/Rodger Bennett (Ford Focus WRC) 33:53.3
