This event used to be the opening round of the Clubman championship but as the decision to make it a Tarmac series this year they dropped the GM Stages from the championship but thankfully it was still run just about with a total of 38 entries and 36 cars running from the start at 11am from the Ross Park Hotel. The event runs 2 forest stages and 2 lanes all run 3 times and proved very tricky on the lanes as concrete, mud and dampness make for a slippery surface from the off especially with gravel spec tyres on. Stage 1 and most of the field got through it fine witha  few offs at the 1st coner as no one realised just how slippery it was but made for good spectating. Then it was into the forests and the stage we got to was a square left down hill through some S bends and into a sweeping square left that wasn’t for the feint hearted at speed with nothing but trees waiting for anyone that got out of shape but the exit was tail out action all day and some seriously hight speeds from most drivers through it. These are just a small selection of the images from the day and results to follow when i get word of them so please contact me for samples and pricing graham@rmsmotoring.com
