Was a great rally despite the weather being a tad damp or should i say pissing down! Some real surprising casualties, Lynch crashed, Jonston crashed, Allens engine siezed afaik and John McGlaughlan didn’t make stage 3 so don’t know if he made the start or not. This left McSea, Biggerstaff and Shaw for the top 3. Mike Curran got 9th overall and 5th in grp N and was very very close to 4th and maybe 3rd but a bent rear axle i think it was meant the last 3 stages had to be driven with caution
