With Kieran Graffin in a revo rally Accent WRC and Derek mcGeehan in "the genies" corolla this event had 2 very well known preparation men in WRC cars. It all got off to a hot pace from the start line with Graffin setting the times for the first few stages with McGeehan hot on his heels and Gillen not too far back eithe, Sadly Graffin had to retire  while Derek later retired leaving Gillen, McCartan and Ryan Graffin to fight it out the last few stages for the final podium positions. With all this going on the RWD clan came out in force and provided what was a very sun burnt crowd on an amazing summers day lots of tail happy driving taking out fences, posts, lumps of grass or anything else they thought they could swing the quarter panel at including a few close shaves on the square left onto flying finish on the last couple of stages with some of the lads nearly hitting the farm building. So to some up the day it was warm, very warm with superb driving and a lot of offs and mishaps to keep everyone entertained and what a very well organised and run event it was.
