Sunday finally came for THE ///M owners meet of the year. Most of the countries Mtec machines were about to gather on an unsuspecting portrush car park. Things started off well with sun reported all around the country so many an owner got busy with the polish and minted up the ///Ms. Things however took a serious turn for the worse as we got closer to portrush and not only did it start pouring but serious blizzards seemed determined to turn us back. We persevered though and were greeted with an impressive array of all things ///M from the retro E30 M3s and an M535i to the bang up to date Z4 M roadster and the lushious M6 coupe.
A good turnout of E36 M3s (including my own), E46 M3s, an AC Schnitzer M3 and the incredible 850csi made this a trip worth making. Add to all that a run out in the sublime M3 CSL and I went home with a grin on my face. Hats off to scrob and jacqui for organising and snapping.
