RMS Day at Rally School Ireland at Rally School Ireland

RMS members enjoyed a great and surprisingly sunny February Sunday out at Rally School Ireland, near Monaghan. It was a chance for anyone who hadn’t any track day experience to come and learn in a Mk2 Escort or BMW 325i Sport with one of RSI’s experienced instructors, or just go out and have a laugh. Everyone came back with wide grins and sore arms from applying copious amounts of opposite lock.

I was kindly asked to bring along my Nissan S14a drift car for a few demo runs, something quite different to their fleet of 350zs, Porsches and Ferraris that were also out on the day. It was great

If you weren’t able to make the event, we do plan to run it again so keep an eye on the forum in future. I’d like to thank David Smyth and the staff at RSI for a fantastic day out.
