With the weather holding out for us the scene was set for a promising day! A few (Rugrat, Pablo, Ruth, Gary and Jmax) of us met up in Ballylumford for some "artistic" pictures. With the snaps taken it was off to the meet location.
After a spirited drive along the back roads, by some Kraut machines, we hit Glynn. Actually, we didn’t even get that far. The PSNI were out and diverted the traffic up over the hills. Eventually we hit Larne, and headed for the Coast Road, Pablo eagerly awaiting the bridge!
Yet another diversion just before Drains Bay. This time it was only a sign, so we simply went round it and arrived in the car park facing Carnfunnock Country Park.
A few phone calls later we discovered that Stocky and Stoney (lisburnni) had followed the diversion sign to find themselves near Carnlough-too far lads!! They weren’t the only victims though. Pacology had also followed this sign ending up….somewhere!
There was a reasonable turn out considering the location and cold weather. Bronk, Cooper and RMS_CRX arriving fasionably late-better late than never lads!
