Where better to have a car show in a dark, dull and wet November but inside a multi-story car park in Bangor. Perhaps taking Fast and the Furious:Toyko Drift as their inspiration for a show venue, the team at Showerks put together a fantastic event and a first for the NI car scene.

The multi-story parking structure of the Flagship Centre in Bangor hosted the event, with cars, club and trade stands spread over three levels, mostly with shade from the elements. The RMS stand was on the only outdoor section of the show, however with the superb support of RMS forum members we had an outstanding turnout and quality of cars, for which we were lucky to win the stand of the show. Not far behind us was the Paintworx stand which most notably had a a stunning yellow spoilerless “Blobeye” Impreza and new shape pearl white Impreza hatch.

The car of the show was an immaculate imperial blue Escort Cosworth, with the show and shine being won by a mint white A3.

Well done to Showerks for a cracking end to the 2012 car show season.
