After a fantastic event last year it was time to head back over for TOTB IV. For those not familiar with the format each car races in 3 events. The 1/4 mile drag, the 1.25 mile top speed run and the handling course. All cars enter and gain points for each event – get the most points and win the whole event! Rocket Ronnie has cleaned up at TOTB 1-3 but was noticeably absent this year so it was all up for grabs.
Some great cars were on the strip but the TOTB car park was also jammed full of evos/imprezas/porkers and more exotic machinery like a MINT Lotus Esprit, a fine Noble, an evo jeep and much much more! It was a car lovers paradise. Of course there was the odd shed too but they just made the rest look even better.
Great local turnout too this year with many more RMSers heading over and the OMA lads entering their cars again (the granada sure turned a few heads!!!). Also well done to Joel English for fastest top speed in the dodge viper at over 200mph!!!
If you get the chance its certainly an event worth attending – I for one will be back over for TOTB V!
