I was fairly sure that having a BBQ in November, in Northern Ireland, had a high chance of washout. Yet we still went ahead with it, and for some reason we ended up with clear skies and 15°C, perfect weather for a BBQ any day of the year.
Thankfully the RMS membership thought a lot of the weather and the invite, and turned up in hundreds with a wide variety of cars on show and may staying around most of the day to chat and hang out.
Kerr’s Tyres again provided both venue and catering for the day, at their Belfast depot off Dargan Crescent. We even had an Ice Cream Van on site!
Although this isn’t a show as such, we always make a point of picking a car of the day to give a small prize of appreciation to the owner. It’s always a particularly difficult decision but we all had a lot to say about Trevor’s stunning F80 BMW M3 in Yas Marina blue, so a well deserved win there.
We can’t wait to hold more of these events in 2016, and in the mean time enjoy the gallery below. To all those who turned up, and to Kerr’s Tyres we can’t thank you enough.
