To the casual observer, a group of people eating ice cream huddled round a Saab 9000 or a Early 90s EF Civic; a V10 R8 or 2018 M3, in a small coastal car park may raise a few eyebrows.

Of course despite its looks this was anything but random. Kicked into life by a handful of RMS forum members,  we had a run up the coast from Jordanstown to Hallidays Peugeot in the hope of a BBQ on a hot and clammy Sunday.

Organised by Cro, JamieG95 and Woodcutter on the forum we had an epic route, spectacular base to end up and a great feed promised. It seems that this appealed to many many forum members and upon my arrival at Jordanstown the car park was packed.

We headed up Northern Ireland’s jewel, the A2 coast road past Larne, grabbing a Mauds in Carnlough before ending up at Hallidays in Bushmills.

Woodcutter had the BBQ already well underway upon our arrival and we were all very impressed by the dealership’s facilities including the spinning photo booth that JamieG95 had many of our wagons onto for photos.

I’d like to thank everyone who helped organise today including Cro, Lexie and Jamie at Hallidays Peugeot and Graeme at Paints and Components. A fantastic day out for us petrolheads.
