I built the car with the intention of using it as a weekend and occasional trackday car and a few Euro trips, I did 1 trackday at Kirkistown recently and without pushing the car it was lapping at 1.05 with full interior and my 1st time driving RWD on track.. theres loads of room for improvement and I was surprised how easy the car was to drive on track and the pace.  I sold a race car last year to build the M3 but already wanting to get back into racing again and I dont have space for both

Paintwork, interior and general condition of the car is excellent, I looked at a lot of M3's for sale before buying this car and even being a 2007 car it was in better condition than 2011 cars I had viewed.

Full underside and mechanical restoration
Everything underneath was removed, rear subframe and any other steel parts were powdercoated during the rebuild
New throttle actuators in 2015 from BMW, then updated actuator gears installed this year from Rebuild, ABS pump rebuilt with lifetime warranty, rod bearings changed to ACL with ARP rod bolts. I have the original rod bearings that were removed from the car and they were in very good shape, another good sign that the car has been well cared for by the previous owners

  • ARP Rod Bolts, ACL Bearings: £675. (Usually £1500 including installation)
  • BMW Group-N engine mounts £500
  • Mumbray alloy under tray: £290
  • Powerflex bushings for control arms, diff mounts etc: £290
  • All new BMW bolts and nuts for the suspension arms, subframe, diff, driveshafts, hubs etc and all fixings for the underside protection has been replaced £300
  • BMW M4 front hubs: £300
  • Track rods, rear wheel bearings, 2 rear control arms, rear brake shoes, brake backing plates etc: £300
  • New OEM Throttle actuators with uprated internals 
  • Storm Motorwerks Titanium finish gear knob just installed: £100
  • LCI rear lights £500
There is a lot more not listed for example, rear Diff service with seals, driveshafts stripped cleaned and rebuilt with racing CV grease, braided brake lines, new hard lines, new thermostat, belts and tensioners, BMC filter, new spark plugs and all the usual service items, fluids filters etc all replaced recently
It would be very hard to find a car currently for sale to match this car for the level of work that has been carried out only recently, the car stands me very close to 30k and will not need anything for years of use. I decided against going to the next level of stripping the rear interior and installing a half cage etc and I think a car with a full interior will suit a wider audience. I do have a new Sparco Rev seat with alloy floor mounts that I can install into the drivers side and include for an extra cost if required
