2005 Lexus GS 430 | £4,250
This is a very rare model in the V8 guise. Although there are a good few LS430's about, the GS variant was only made between 2004-2006 for. This is the top of the range model (SE-L) which is loaded with kit. Obviously, being a Lexus everything works!

The timing belt was changed at 977759 with the full timing belt kit, oil air and spark plugs all renewed.
In my ownership, I also changed the automatic transmission fluid just to ensure everything stayed tip-top, the battery was also replaced last year and changed the oil, oil and air filter.. There is a full folder of receipts with thousands of pounds of documented servicing over the life of the car
This car was converted to LPG by AGIS Bradford in 2015 and placed on the UKLPG vehicle register. The LPG sits in the spare wheel well and is a donut type tank. This means that boot space is unaffected. The gas system has also been serviced annually. I had the most recent service carried out by AGS in Portadown which included new LPG filters and a check of the map which was fine. The annual service costs £50. On gas the car does the equivalent of 45 mpg (gas is half the price of petrol) and there is no noticeable different in how the car runs. The switch over is automatic (and seamless). It starts up on petrol and moves over to gas once the coolant reaches the appropriate temperature (20-30 degrees approximately). This takes under a mile in the summer and just under two in winter. This is my first LPG converted car and for something like this which would be expensive to run solely on petrol, this is the ticket. V8 smoothness and power for diesel running costs!
I am in two minds about selling this but the lure of a Scooby is strong once again, hence this being advertised.
Genuine queries only please, this is an insane amount of car for very humble money. Being a Lexus, it's reliable, and being a V8 on LPG it drives like a V8 should without the fueling costs normally associated with such a unit!
Thanks for looking.
