Stevie actually steered my towards VW Audi Repair Specialist just outside of Ballyclare (he was away on Holiday).

Just an update on these guys. Got my car serviced there at the end of last week and will definitely go back. Great work and easy paid. Top guys to deal with too.

I can't speak from my own experience, but from what others have said I'd look elsewhere. Also they rented a storage shed opposite my own in Mallusk for a few months, then took off without paying the rent. Hardly a reputable business.
Is there not a recommended place in Mallusk? I think someone on here works there.
always wondered actually drove past the place today and it looks a mess and normally first impressions go a long way. Will be avoiding cheers

Sadly not.....you get "specialist" garages, then you have actual legit proper specialists... Please don't compare them to each other
The VAG range is probably the most "googletech'd" brand with the biggest online "support" networks, they are pretty easy to work on hence why you get sooooo many supposed specialists, but ask them how they became said title and you might change your opinion on most of them.

So with my usual mechanic heading off on holiday I had a look in this thread for someone else.
First time round I tried Gilpin Automotive mentioned above. On the phone he said it was a balls of a job, then said I'm out atm, can you ring me later? Then didn't answer the phone after a few calls. Gave him the benefit of the doubt and rang a few times the next day, but no answer.
I ended up at the VW Audi repair centre in Ballyclare, also mentioned above. Decent guys with no BS, and I was pretty happy with what I paid. I would definitely recommend.
