Hey all,

I still really enjoy an A or B road blast but equally I would like a car that I could drive from Scotland to the south coast of England get out and not be crippled.

I’m looking for recommendations of something that fits the bill, around £50k or less.

Cheers,
Chris.

Having looked at DB9’s before buying the vantage I would recommend the vantage from a driving perspective. In all honesty though I would still have a cayman over it, far better to drive, more practical, better running costs overall too

Surely there can’t be that much luggage room in the Cayman Pete? That’s the only issue I see (for me) with one.
Lotus Evora 400. 4 Seats, unique on the road, amazing to drive, could do track days or GT.

Not a fan to be honest.

You have two boots in the cayman, the one at the front is really deep, then you have a boot in the back too, it’s way way more practical than most 2 seat coupes

Verging on "How much is that service costing?!" territory but...

Probably take another £50k to keep it on the road.
Possibly not as much as you think.
If your after something fun a GT car probably isn’t what your after. A proper sports car like a 911, v8 vantage, R8 etc is probably what your after. All will munch up miles easily and still be fun on a back road.
