I done a quote there and its very reasonable but no questions about modifications, I guess I'll have to phone to check that out!?

DirectLine won't quote me because the power has increased by more than 20%, cheapest at the moment is Adrian Flux, insurance due tomorrow so will maybe try a few more like Admiral etc and see what happens

I had to change my insurance Norm as LV were looking a shocking amount to add in exhaust and an address change.

Im now with Admiral, paying 525 for the year with all mods declared.

I got sorted with Greenlight in the end, ~£450. That's with my mods and the limited mileage as I had to take my 10+ years NCB a few years ago to use for the Passat and start a new insurance for the Scoob, so that's only at 3 years now or whatever.

Good results for both in the end (y)

Just sorted insurance for my Scooby again there. Decided that since the Golf R was with Admiral I'd give them a shout re their multi car insurance and I'm glad I did. I use my big no claims for my Golf so I only have 4 years for the Scooby policy but it still only came in at £76.61p for 6 months, well 2 days short of 6 months which takes it up to when the Golfs insurance renews and that's with everything declared. They will also give me another years no claims for that 6 month period which I though was a bonus. Hopefully get the Golf R and Scooby insured for well under £500 next year, will be even cheaper the year after when the Scooby is old enough for classic insurance.

I was with Greenlight for around 8 years and got a good quote for my new Impreza but they let me down when told me they don't insure new unregistered Jap imports. Had to go to Adrian Flux. I would also recommend trying AIB Insurance if you are a member of one of the scooby owners clubs such as scoobynet. They gave me a good quote and you can pay monthly. Dont bother with KEITH MICHAELS who are subaru specialist as they dont cover N.Ireland
