IMO it’s worth every penny. If kept in the same condition it’s only going up in price. Knowing my luck I’d wrap it round a tree ffs.

Complete and utter madness. Hard to imagine why people pay that sort of money for them. But if he can get it, fair play to him.
If it was bone stock i could see the attraction and some of the value. But all the mods devalue it imo. Cool car, as with twincams, rs turbos etc etc etc, crazy money but theres an arse for every seat.

They only go up in price for so long, i doubt there's much more headway to be made.

Went a viewed an St fiesta he had a few years ago, worst experience I've had from a dealer. He's an ignorant big c**t, with 90% of his stock at that time overpriced

Even reading his ads on Car & Classic would give you that impression of him.

Another proving of money just can’t buy class... I agree with @56oval and the work done although Awsome has devalued it from original but he’s maybe going for that one buyer out there that will see past it.

Also didn’t get a great impression of the seller from reading this ad and for that money most will want the untouched totally original item. Think he knows that too given how much he over emphasises the “fantastic” mods it has and how much money has been spent.

The way he writes his ads makes me never want to even step foot near his showroom, I wouldn’t buy anything off a guy who quite obviously doesn’t care about his potential customers spending their hard earned on his stock. Compete and utter chancer I reckon.

It’s hard to believe some of the prices (particularly for old fords) these days. I wonder do they actually sell for anywhere near these prices.

The right cars are selling for big money.
With some of the prices lately there surely can’t be much more of a rise you wouldn’t of thought .in saying that 10 years ago we never of thought the prices today would be Were they are .

One things for sure, when you’d be cruising around in it, joe public would never look at it and think, wow, there’s a 115k car right there, id say most under 25 would think you were driving it for a bet!

the people paying that money or even thinking of paying that money...chances of it ever being driven anywhere are very slim.

Plus the fact that a lot of his ads have this horse crap;

IM ADVERTISING IT AS IM OUT OF SPACE , IF SOMETHING ELSE SELLS FIRST TO MAKE WAY TO KEEP THIS THE AD WILL BE REMOVED

Why would you even bother, sad way to own a car.

Sure recent threads on here full of fellas prospecting for the next few years and beyond. It's a bit of a sad state of affairs and pushes the classics out of the range of most enthusiasts into the arms of those looking to stoke their retirement fund and not really enjoy the car. Everyone's sitting thinking about the nest big thing to rise in value, forgetting what it's all about in the first place.

At least there's some hope it'll end up at a show somewhere with a rope round it and an owner standing with a face like a wet weekend so the youngsters can catch a glimpse lol

I don't see the problem. Yes the prices are plain nuts to the likes of joe average ( me ) but lets be real. ALL of us have had the opportunity to buy these cars when they were either cheap or even for the best lowest mileage examples, completely affordable. Truth is i didn't. Why? Because i was enjoying other marques and these things just weren't on my radar. A few years ago i took a notion, did some searching and summised, did i really want to spend 20+k on a car i could have had for less than half of that within the last 10 years. The easy answer was no. Iv'e done very well out of old car ownership with all my cars trebling and in one case increasing ten fold so i have no right to gripe. Wev'e all missed the boat in our own way, never has our financial obsession with cars been so great. We tend to covet the value ( or potential increase in value ) and completley miss the point of what the car is.
Find a car that meets your expectations , use it, get your hands dirty and enjoy the hell out of it.
