Now I know there’ll be a bit of an uproar at me getting rid of the dis-Astra, but hey ho. I wanted a small car all along and this wee Corsa came up.

Its perhaps a bit of a mid-life crisis type thing, but I’ve always loved Corsa B’s and a few threads here lately that have helped sway me.

It’s a bit felty at the moment, but that can be easily rectified.

So what plans are to de-felt it and upgrade its spec. It’s just got a years test on it and has only broke the 100k mark. It’s a 1.4 8v single point injection. Maybe in the future I’ll throw a 1.6 16v in her, but for now I’ll make do and fit stuff like central locking, electric windows etc... as well as a budget-ish ICE install. It has a full Sport interior already so that’s something of the list already.

Corsa B’s always remind me of mid 20 year old oddballs who hung around outside Charlie’s/Lavery’s/Chim during closing time trying to finger 15years olds in an era when society deemed it acceptable....

...but yes health to drive!

I remember getting one as a courtesy car and nearly putting it over the roundabout just down from savilles such was the savage understeer :joy:

Also had the RAC out to a new hire one because I swore the engine was knackered.

"They're all like that sir"

HTD @Blackie the wee fella down the street got one about 6 months ago and he's flat out modding (and welding) it. The note of the 1.4 with the induction kit is class :grinning:
