Well this is my first venture into the world of bikes. I'm by no means a biker and truly never had much interest in them, but during my extended visit to hospital and a lot of down time whilst recovering, my best mate and I had watched Ross Noble doing the Scottish 6 Day Trial and thought f**k it. Let's do it.
So with a rough plan in place to do the 2021 SSDT the next mission was to find suitable bikes. It was then I stumbled upon this Repsol 4RT locally and as I despise the sound of a 2 stroke, it was bought and dragged home. I didn't even test ride it as I was still very tender and the risk of damage was still very high.
So after this I waited until New Years for my first ride out, thankfully with a small audience of experienced riders on private land so i couldn't make too much of a pratt of myself.
Not long after that day out the bike suffered a major failure. Whilst I was wobbling about trying to teach myself how to hop and manipulate the bike, the lug on the swing arm had cried enough.
