I had a set from ebay, looked good when they arrived but the Gold faded after a month. Hope you have better luck with those. I ended up changing to new genuine.
Theyve been on since januaryKeith and havent faded or anything yet, so happy enough and stand out a bit more than the silver and black ones, need a new badge for the bonnet next though once its been painted due to someone riding there bike into the front of it
Well finally got the coilovers all fitted this week, and what a ball ache all the rear trim had to come out, not happy with the results yet as its stillmsitting a bit high at the back but shes away in tomorrow for full cayman r alignment and geo set up just want a big shout out to Dan at PB coilovers and brakes who came up trumps and had the coileys shipped and delivered within 3 days and to say there lower scale compared to kw etc the build quality and ride quality I have experienced so far is superb even the customer service and rate them a better ride experience than my old bcs in my stagea, they have restored alot more faith in driving the car at a faster pace, anyway a quick pic of the coileys and will get more tomorrow when shes on the ramp
I had thought about PB stuff for my 911, but decided to stick with shocks and springs. The brake setups he makes look superb, and everyone gives the stuff great reviews.
Havent got any of the suspension fitted keithe have 1 side on of the ride height now but still not happy with the height as shes too high at the back however with the full cayman r alignment its a total different car
Bit of an update the.original cdr24 amp had blown causing interference so the car was off the road for 6 months over winter it's since been replaced with a pioneer double din after porsche telling Me it was a wiring fault between speakers, hopefully get a few more miles on it this year it's only done 3500 in what's coming up 3 years
Been a while since I updated this, she's still here and been off the road for the past few years so dragged out and recommissioned.
As you can see she decided to spring a coolant leak so had all the coolant pipes replaced, some new tyres and just off to do discs and pads.
forgot how enjoyable she is to drive, having covered just 6k since 2013 i need to make time to drive her more often, alot of cars have came and gone but can safely say this won't be going anywhere.
Plans are to wind the suspension down, sort out the door speaker as its burst, sort out the ac controls as the texture has started peeling and get some miles on it
so finally got round to new brakes, and sorting the gear selector control module, so now all that's done its been decided the car may well be looking for a new home so we can move onto something a bit more fruitier
