08 AP1 Honda S2000 Platinum White Pearl

Recently picked up this 2008 AP1 Honda S2000 in Platinum White Pearl. The Platinum paint was a special order and only available in 07 & 08, only 16 of which were sold in the UK. This being an 08 MY, it is on the 5 spoke alloy found on the 08/09 models. Finished in the red and black interior trim. Two previous owners, who both used it as a weekend toy, 31k miles. It’s easy to tell it hasn’t had daily driving as it’s immaculate underneath. This is the 3rd one of these I’ve owned, and the plans are to keep this one bone stock. The rocker cover has blistered as they do, no biggie, a refurb will cure that. Needs a soft top but at 12 years old it’s no insult. Came with full Honda service history and was at one dealer all it’s life, both owners lived reasonably close to each other.

The previous owner included one of the S2000 launch books, a rare curio that an enthusiast such as myself appreciates. Not so sure about the “Quo” CD or pollen filter.

Yes it’s a very rare sight indeed, I’m sure not all the 16 UK ones still exist. The only Championship whites were as you say, JDM or the 09 GT 100s that were the only official Champ whites sold in the UK.
