Since there was a bit of interest in this, have had most of the items for a few years but hard to find the motivation to actually start doing it, so here goes. Currently making a mid engined 20V Turbo Mini, it need a fair bit of work so I decided to mid engine it as I always wanted a turbo Mid engined Mini. Hope everyone approves.

One Mini needing a bit of loving.

A few items arrived.

Rear arms tacked up, tubbed in and used a set of D2 Evo rear coilover units I had lying around. Going to refurb them and get the correct rated springs.

Got tyres fitted to check for the arch clearance.

Sits a bit low on the Evo spring rates.

Thanks again folks.

Awesome!

Is that an older AGU engine? What management will you run? I’ve a newer ME7.5 ecu you could have if it would be compatible with the AGU somehow. Think they’re easier to map and generally work on.

Well spotted its the AGU engine, I think to change it from the M3.8.3 to the ME7.5 will need all the looms changed as well, because of the cable throttle. If i use the later M3.8.3 (06A906018CG) it can be done via the OBD. Thanks for the offer. (y)(y)

Looking great!

what’s the plans for the engine? Staying standard or a few nice upgrades?
