well, as most of you know i own the car ive always wanted but with the winter coming in, im puttin her of the road so i bought this!

1997 ford fiesta ghia 1.3 petrol
1 owner from brand new
28k mile on the clock

When i went to collect Bunty (thats been her name from brand new so not changing it lol) last night, the elderly owner had a wee cry as it was another end of an era for her. She sold up because shes turnin 90 and doesnt think shes suitable to be driving anymore

had a quick wee clean at her today, couldnt start to 3pm as was sick as a dog all morning so she got two washes and abit of tardis around her before it turned dark (not alcohol related may i add lol)

this is bunty ! the interior is like brand new and her outside aint to bad either i must add!

Have one in the shed myself and was my first car! You can't kill them and ours has 100k on it. Wee Ghia too but I had lazer wheels on it but now a set of wolfrace slot mags on it. For being completely standard springs etc they handle well!

Yeah, it's great having something you can just park and forget about it.

Health to drive anyway!

Not many left with those miles. I picked up a 1.3 version when I sold the S2K in October... Getting me from A -> B over the winter months and saving me a fortune in fuel .. £37 fills tank !

I remember my friend had one of these with what I thought was only 32,000 miles on it, until i realised there is only 5 slots on the milage reader.

Good runabout for the winter however (y)

Very cool. I drove a red two door 1.3 for a while. Very distinctive sound. I've a standard radio if you need it.

Cant beat a fiesta, I still have my fiesta locked up in the garage. Had it since I was 16 and only really gets driven to MOT and back. Wants for nothing.

I take it the clock has been round full circle and thats why its on 28k? :p Gaad the mk4 grey interior is pure SNIIFFFF material, but sure, it'll do fior a cheap hack (y)

More doors for more whores btw Gem? Or is that just a personal self statement?!

My god did you do well getting all the piss out of the front seats.
Honest question too though, did she throw in a lucky penny or leave the kleenex in the rear shelf? 3 hub cap look completes it for the accidental kerb hopping look :grinning:

Cracking little economic runaround though :grinning:

You sure that's a ghia? They had alloys, a naff chrome grill, chrome interior door handles etc. Although the plastic wood would point to it being one
