For £6, it was a decent day. A good mix of cars there, even those that needed 2x4s to get into the field. :p

The car I loved was @Neil@rockvale's P1, I absolutely love those. Also the first time I got to see @Gemma's DY M3 in the metal, I said to @wee_neiler how good the paintwork was, very impressive car. Also thank's to @Gemma's mum for putting up with my mate Gareth's persistent questioning about her Fairlady Z. :grinning:

I'm sure I'm not alone but christ, that boxcar chap playing the same song all afternoon did my tits.

Not sure if anyone mentioned it in the last thread but a highlight of the day for me was when someone unplugged the PA system when the whinging singer was on, they got a round of applause.. I laughed my a$$ off:grinning:

@106lad relaibly informed me it was Scania 143 @Lyons. Also, there were 5 of those limited edition Scanias on display. I'll get a few of my pictures up later as I've some of the tractors and so on. I've no trucks though :worried:

Massive show, with everything from proper vintage cars that were in black and white, static engines, motorbike stunt riders, right through to the Pistonheads spec M4. Everyone involved deserves great praise and the money goes to a great cause (y)

Shame we ended up where we were. Was difficult to secure the banners while still having them visible. Some sort of flag pole or stand would be ideal.

I borrowed the wife's SLR and managed to get some shots. Don't be expecting great things though.

Who the F owns that black golf!!

I was intending to take my car to it but ended up to busy to have it cleaned/tidied and few things sorted before it so ended up on the beer for a friend's birthday.

Great day bad music lol
One question i have to ask is what criteria the judges based their decisions on . There were standard newish cars winning trophies over cars which had obviously had blood sweat and tears put in to building them . It seems that you can buy a seven year old car give it a good wash and win trophies at this show ???

I distinctively remember thinking 'someone stick a microfiber in that singers mouth'
Seems I wasn't alone lol.
Hope I can have something for the stand next year.

Orange top Kadette Coupe. Again, quality conversion and such a great looking car.

Was never a E30 325i fan, but this is great. Just had to take a picture. Superb colour in the flesh and this picture isn't doing it justice at all.

Trois French hot hatches from the 1990s. Unmolested Goodwood that didn't end up in bits for a 205 is a rarity.

Right, ballsed up that post and didn't actually post all the pictures that I wanted to. But this car really blew me away, it was great.

Bog standard 1986 Nova, running a 350bhp C20LET. So subtle. From the outside only the Speedlines and 4 pot brakes give it away. Such a tidy car and a quality conversion. I don'ty even like Novas either. This thing deserves a feature. One of my cars of the show, no doubt.
