Haha, yes, I'd also forgotten what the smell of raw petrol out the exhaust was like, and the smell of hot coolant!

Loved reading the past few pages.

You've really put some fantastic effort and care into this. Credit to you. I'm sure he loved being back in after 25 years.

(I would have thought the insurance valuation might have been a bit higher.)

Thanks, we're very pleased with it so far.

Had the paintwork been in better shape, it well could. TBH I was surprised at what they said.
Having run it up over Whinney Hill and Craigantlet last night I know it's structurally sound at least

Next job is the interior.... watch this space.
