Quick Sunday morning drive...joined by a beautiful backdated 81 911sc, proper flat6 sound... I think a twin exits exhaust in on the plan

Just a quick update:
Discovered some surface rust around the front near side sill along the water channel, grind it down, treat with kurust, primer, paint, seam seal and some adhesive with rubber seal back on. That should do for now. Also you can see the original petrol blue underneath...

Replaced the old JDM head unit, since the radio frequency is useless for Europe. A nice simple VDO unit with MP3/Bluetooth and hands free function plus a pair of pioneer speakers, now I can stream my music useing my phone

Also updated all the dash light bulbs with warm white LED ones, much brighter and easy on the relay too.

Left the car to Alan at AMG for a day, was told nothing to worry about.

Booked the MOT, failed with a loose offside handbrake! Took me about 1hour to adjust it today... It should be all ok now for a retest...Bloody old cars...

Managed to find an original Team Schuppan race corporation sticker (80s), a cool link between Vern Schuppan’s Racing win on 1983 Le Mans, Japan and Porsche 962. It surely will stay on my driver side quarter window

I am not set yet, there is a issue about the fuel smell from the rear wheel area when car is running, although it is common for old cars and he was not concerned, but I am not going to let it go. I may end up with replace all the fuel lines and fuel filter. I wonder if there is any device you actually detect the vapour leak
