I took this thing a 600 mile trek around England over 2 weeks with work & the worn out seats broke my back. The discomfort was one thing but the smell I was retching every time I got into the thing . It didn’t help that I had wet diving gear on the rear bench for 2 weeks & the previous owners were horsie people.

Tonight I picked up Civic Type R seats in Portrush for £70 as a Christmas present to myself & seat about swapping the mounts over.

The cockroach turned 250k over the holidays. The odometer has been tampered with so it’s prob more like 400k.

Seat belts weren’t retracting with ease so instead of ordering new items I gave them a thorough scrub with hot soapy water & dried with a heat gun. This was the result of 20 years worth of body fats, dead skin & dirt

Rub pledge or similar into slow belts too, they have silicon in it that acts like a dry lubricant

Saw a lovely single cab one of these in Dunfanaghy today. Was painted dark grey with a set of Enkei evo 8 wheels. Looked great.

Yep that would have been @Woodcutter & mine. The £400 paint job has held up well, so far lol

I’m not going to take this yoke too seriously. Would love a rubber or plastic bed liner for it though.

I laid some carpet in mine as it has ribbed plastic and it’s like kneeling on nails.
