Aircon unit replaced with one that hasn't been scratched to death. Pocket flap below it also fixed - Just need to find a radio next.

Its pain in hole trying to source decent condition trim parts for these ffs :worried:

Last piece I needed to sort in interior was the stereo....buttons where a mess. Wanted to keep car original inside but like everything for these cars it's a pain in hole /£££ to get good condition 2nd hand bits. So picked up a couple of crapped out stereos to make up one good fascia.

This is how it looked when I bought it, including aircon unit which I already replaced

Then dismantled 2 stereo plus my own to make 1 decent fascia

And now interior looks a lot more presentable

looks great, I had one of these that I bought for £600 and drove for a year and a bit without spending a penny on it. probably the best car I've had!

Had been keeping an eye out for an S3 spoiler but then learned of an audi optional spoiler for a3 that was a bit more discreet. So started the search and picked one up New old stock item for handy money.

Needs painted obviously but think it should help the rear. Came with bonder etc but think I'll just stick it down with 3m VHB tape

Find myself growing quite attached to the wee audi. Does everything so well. Never gonna be fast but it's a nice wee driving thing. H&R suspension kit on it really tightened it up. Has me wondering why I never really considered s3's those years back when I was looking at mk4 r32's - even has me looking through the classifieds at them now 🤣

Another minor annoyance sorted. Rear washer didnt work. Baffles me how people cope with a rear washer delete

Turned out it just needed a new jet on rear wiper and then water pipe joiner to rear reconnected under the bonnet (y)

Realigned driverside window frame also as I noticed a small gap on the top of window seal which was causing wind noise in cabin.
