I just installed Hot cams, did oil change, good gas, but the carb leaks like a MOFO, almost as if the floats are stuck. I’ve taken the primary jet out and cleaned that and the bowl. Even with the hot cam installed it’s a pain in the ass to start, so I’m thinking it’s a carb issue. The real question is is it worth it to take the time to rebuild the original carb or just get a different carb?

have you checked the float needle rubber were it seals? cleaning the jets wont stop it leaking fuel as its the needle connected to the floats that stop the fuel flow,
